Yampa River Fest
June 4, 2018

The annual Yampa River Fest was this past weekend. Charlie and I spent some time in the Yampatika tent educating people on the importance of river health. The more bugs (macro-invertebrates) that the river supports, the healthier it is. We found mayflies, caddis, midges, stoneflies, and a huge sculpin. Charlie then tied flies for the patrons to highlight how art can imitate science!
He's filling a flybox for his 3rd grade teacher's end of year present!!
